PersonalParty Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 10, 2024. This Privacy Policy explains how PersonalParty (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use the PersonalParty apps, website, and related services. The policy is written in English and designed to meet Apple App Store Review Guidelines and applicable privacy laws.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information required to operate, improve, and support PersonalParty experiences. Depending on how you interact with the service, this may include:
- Account basics: Name, email address, and authentication details when you sign up or join the waitlist.
- Usage data: Session timestamps, persona selections, chat metadata, device and OS information, and diagnostics required for product performance and safety monitoring.
- Payment details: Billing history processed securely through Apple, Google, or our payment partners. We never store full payment card numbers.
- Support interactions: Messages you send to hello@personalparty.app or through in-app feedback forms.
How We Use Information
We use collected data to deliver and improve the service, comply with laws, and protect the PersonalParty community. Key purposes include:
- Authenticating and personalizing your experience across devices.
- Processing subscriptions, boosts, and refunds through trusted payment providers.
- Maintaining safety features, including content moderation, fraud detection, and legal compliance.
- Sending service announcements, onboarding resources, and critical updates.
- Analyzing aggregated usage trends to improve personas, features, and stability.
When We Share Information
We only share information with third parties that help us operate PersonalParty or when we are legally required to do so. We may disclose information to:
- Infrastructure and analytics vendors who support hosting, messaging, or crash reporting.
- Payment processors that complete your transactions in compliance with PCI DSS standards.
- Law enforcement or regulators when required to comply with applicable laws, court orders, or App Store review requests.
We do not sell personal data. Any sharing follows strict contractual safeguards, including confidentiality and data-protection agreements consistent with Apple requirements.
Data Retention & Security
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and routine security reviews. If an incident occurs, we follow Apple’s notification expectations and applicable data breach laws.
Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You can manage marketing preferences through in-app settings or unsubscribe links. Submit privacy requests by emailingprivacy@personalparty.app. We respond within 30 days or sooner when required by law.
Children’s Privacy
PersonalParty is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn we have done so, we will delete the information promptly and notify relevant guardians and authorities when necessary.
International Transfers
PersonalParty may process data on servers located outside your country of residence. We implement appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect personal data during cross-border transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect operational changes or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy here, update the effective date, and follow App Store communication requirements for material updates.
